Our Origin: A Legacy of Craftsmanship, Rooted in Royal Bikaner

Zewarsthan represents the modern chapter of a family legacy that traces its roots back over 75 years, beginning with our first generation, Late Shri Amarchand Ji Soni (Mausun), son of Shivnath Soni. With exceptional skill and dedication, he started his journey crafting intricate, handmade jewellery in a small village named Mokalsar. He eventually traveled to Kolkata to sell his creations, where his artistry began to gain recognition. His passion and craftsmanship laid the foundation of a tradition that has endured through generations.

This legacy was carried forward by the second generation, Shri Bhuraram Soni, son of Amarchand Ji. Continuing the family’s values, he nurtured the tradition in Arjunsar, further strengthening the roots of our ancestral craft before embracing a peaceful, spiritual life in retirement, now visiting various Tirthdhams and doing social services like Gosewa.

The third generation saw the expansion of this legacy, as Bhuraram Ji has five sons who each embraced the family tradition in their own way. Four of the younger sons have established their own successful jewellery showrooms - two in Arjunsar and two in Bikaner - spreading the family name and reputation across Rajasthan.

The eldest son’s wife, Smt. Urmila Soni emerged as a visionary force in continuing the family heritage. Alongside her two sons, the fourth generation - Mayank Soni (B.Tech from IIT Guwahati) and Gavya Soni (B.E from BITS Pilani, Goa campus) - she founded Zewarsthan in Bikaner city. Breaking from traditional paths, they chose not just to inherit but to innovate, blending generations of craftsmanship with modern sensibilities.

Today, Zewarsthan - A Legacy Woven in Gold, stands proudly as a symbol of royal Rajasthani elegance, bringing to life every piece of jewellery with authenticity, artistry, and heart. Supported by a dedicated team of over 50 skilled artisans, we continue to celebrate and evolve the timeless legacy passed down through our family.
